Man...Im way over due.

Well I finished at Snow College and moved home permanently until I get married. :D
But yesterday was Christmas and I had a wonderful time with BOTH of my families! :D And now...I loved my voice today. so farewell...

Dec Blogging...

Well at the request of my awesome roommate. I am going to try the challenge of blogging everday!...I already failed so Im doing two today! this one for Dec 1st just happens to be about 45 minutes late. Lol oops. Sorry V!

Well..if you don't know me already, I just got engaged last friday to the most wonderful man in my life who is also my best friend. :D
He recently returned home from his mission almost two weeks ago... hehe
We dated before his mission and kept in good contact while he was there and I don't want to go into too much detail but it was like we both pretty much knew as soon as he got home that we wanted to be together FOREVER!!!! :D Woot woot!
So I am getting married on May 25th in the Manti Temple. I cannot wait!

Well to tell about my day, I woke up an hour before my alarm, and then I tried to go back to sleep before going to the Manti Temple to do baptism. It was fun, I was the only one there the whole time.
Then I went and I working on my lighting design final and found out that my file of my edited song, which is "You're Not Alone" by Saosin, wouldn't work so my Fiance' is going to be spectacular and bring it with us when we come back to Snow together this weekend yay!!!
I then came back had lunch, watched na episode fo SPACE: Above and Beyond. My roommate V would just tell you its weird, she laughs at it when she watches it with me but its a cool show from 1995! my Fiance's father is letting me borrow it. :)
Then I went to my Costume Construction class, worked on my project and tried to work as fast as I could before my time was up for class.
I then later went to a Relief Society Bridal shower for myself and another wonderful sister in my ward who is getting married on Dec. 20th! She just got engaged about two weeks ago. It was fun we told out engagement stories and had dessert and traded recipes. :D
THen I went and did Astronomy homework for 2 hours, stood out in the cold for 30 minutes for my Astronomy Lab and I saw 3 of Jupiter's moons, and the Pliades cluster and the moon! It was really cool to see. I love astronomy I just hate the work load from the class.
When I got back my bathroom had been bugging me sooooo much that I HAD to clean it...it was gross....Moving on...
I then listened to music and my roommate came back from the opening night of The Forgotten Carols, it sounded like it went well. Im going with my Fiance' to see it on Saturday. Yay!
Then I spoke on the phone with my wonderful Fiance'...by the way his name is Shane Wilson. ^_^ And it was a wonderful talk, we talked about our day and other things pertaining to marriage. It was wonderful and I love him with all of my heart and soul. There is no one else in my life that could fill the place in my heart that he so dearly holds.

I love life

So...as many of you know, or those who have known me for the past two years have come to know well of a young man I love with all my heart. My love has just returned from his mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is spectacular and lets just say things are wonderfully well between the two of us. ;) Im so glad to have him back, I feel so much happier and my life could not be any better.
I also went to the temple alone this morning and it was wonderful. As I was driving up to the Manti Temple the fog around and the frost on the temple just glistened in the sun. And the light twice on the towers of the temple shone so bright like it was a beacon. :) I felt a sense of peace and I know that I needed to be there this morning. And it was just wonderful I love going so much!
Well Im off to class and then Im going home to figure out my Spring semester schedule and then go be with the love of my life before Colorguard Practice!

What my life would be like...

Without you, I would most definately not be who I am today. I would not have wanted to try harder to do better for myself and those around me. I would not have continued to strengthen my own beliefs and to take a look inside myself to find out who I really am. I know I most definately would not have grown to love you more than I ever have before. :) I have a hard time contemplating how I might have been, who I would have been, but I don't want to. I know it may have taken me longer than you to realize how I really truly feel about you, but I know now. The past two years...I would do everything all over the same way if I had to a second time because the experiences I had, the people I met, and the places I have been have helped to shape me into who I am today. And I am so thankful that today has brought me back to you. :)

Fail Amanda....Fail. That is all I can hear my roommate say because I did not blog this fall break. But seriously my life has been so crazy.

I have Astronomy homework....loads of it that I have yet to complete.

My Into to Fiction class just has a lot of reading and I should be finishing my essay at the moment. But I like that class because it gives me an excuse to read! If I read just for pleasure during the semester...I will never get my homework done!!!

So...there is also my lighting design class, I have barely touched the homework. Its pathetic and then Im so CLOSE to finishing the jacket part of my costume. Which my costume will look like this, but only in a turquoise and greenish silk fabric. IM SO EXCITED FOR IT! I will definately post my completed project.

Going to finish my homework now...sigh

I finally figured out how to get this blog in to my other email account! Woot! :D
Spent today mostly on homework besides going to church...oy vey...im taking a break and thought I would pop on here for a sec.
The play the Taming of the Shrew, that I am in opens a week from Wednesday! Ahh....its crazy. Im sad its my last show at Snow College, but I couldn't have asked it to be a Shakespeare play. So Im all good. :)
well...im going to take a break from homework and do something for a little bit...like watching supernatural and eating ice cream!!! Yay!

Whirlwind of a day

Whirlwind of a day? What about the month or the year?! Life is so crazy....why am I up now posting when I should be finishing my assignment, its because my wonderful roommate wants me to blog so I am. This may be short, but I shall evenutally get on here more often.

Oy Vey...

Its been a while my friends. What to post...well I freaking finally got a job. :) And I am now going to a job interview tomorrow for a 2nd job, both are in fact summer jobs. And then I have a few jobs at the college over the summer. I think I am going to make it! I just wanted to make enough money so I can not burden my parents with my money debts and take care of it myself. I can proudly say I have yet to take out ANY loans for college. And that will continue to be the goal! But I just needed a job too so I can start saving for future things...like more college dues, and possibly a mission...if that is where life takes me. So yeah! :) This past weekend totally rocked. I got to go stay the weekend with my BESTEST friend ever! She and I had so much fun, besides the fact she had graduation parties...lol it was still wonderful to see her and to just be with someone who really knows me and I don't feel judged or criticized hanging around. And that I know she wants me to be around. I get that feeling here sometimes, cause I feel left out, but I have no reason too, I just wasn't invited that time. So if you ever catch me pouting about feeling left out...Stop me...seriously...its pathetic to let yourself feel that way. I just have a lot of different people I am close to in different ways, and sometimes its hard cause Im not close to people I used to be close to, and I miss being close them hence why I feel left out. But I just...nevermind it doesn't need to be mentioned anymore.
So...Im going back to colorguard. :D I am on the team for the next season of Winterguard, I am on UVU's team called Envision! I am so excited!  Well if I ever remember to get on here again I shall do so.

Ho hum...

I want to keep up on this if I can, I guess we shall see. If I ever have time anymore.
The Spring semester just started and I am already busy.
But I am in the Musical!! We are doing Seussical the musical and I am a Who in family #3. its going to be fun. :)
Well...starting tomorrow on the 10th of January, I will be starting P90X Woot! I'm excited, now lets see how long I can keep this up. I just want to feel better in my overall health and mentality that I just can feel great about myself because I am working out. So I will! :)
Hmm...lets see, im trying to keep up with my friends who are on their missions and one of my wonderful friends, more so like my Best Friend! I have about 6 BEST friends. :) Yes...I can why because its awesome! But he is definately my Best Friend and he will be home in about 10 months. :D I'm excited for that.
Um...i'm really looking forward to this coming semester it shall be interesting for sure.
I am already enjoying my classes and I want to turn my reading habits into a habit of reading Voraciously!!

I am loving this song. This new artist Lucy Schwartz is wonderful. I love her songs they are so unique and original. :) It makes me happy.
But this song in partiuclar just makes me miss things sometimes. Its hard waiting for things in life to come, you know what I mean?
We have to be patient and just do what we should be doing everyday until what we are waiting for shows up or we get an answer to a question we have had.
This really isn't what I wanted to say....I want to play this song when he gets back.
Everytime I go home I am constantly reminded of him. Made the summer a little hard, but I lived. :) I made a wonderful friend, his mother. :) She is a dear sweet woman and I am so very glad that we have had the chance to get to know each other.

So...now that Arsenic and Old Lace is over life is slowly getting back in order. :)
Today is a very slow day, reason being I have one class and then rehearsal for MouseTrap. I am the props mistress for that show this time now. So I have no idea what to do with my time so I shall blog!
We watched Pan's Layberinth last night and considering how tired I was I saw the whole movie but it was weird...strange but it is full of good symbolism.

Oh but last night I let one of my roommates cut my hair. I never do anything to it beside grow it out and then trim it. So I have layers!!!!

I like it alot! ^_^

Its weird brushing my hair and there is not as much and putting it up it is so much thinner. Its fun though. :D
So lets see....what has happened recently.
Well I didn't make it in to Mousetrap since I am doing the props but I may get to help out with the acting in a way.
Moving on, the Alpa Delts club is having a superhero stomp next week!!! I'm going to be Super Girl!

I am trying to get more sleep.
Oh I got a tape from Elder Wilson... :D It was wonderful to hear his voice. And I have already sent another one out to him but man i have quite a few friends to write to if I have the time to.
I need to write to, the MTC for a couple friends and write to Latvia, Louisiana, Sweden, Peru just to name a few. But I will eventually get to that. lol :)

Lets see, I finished reading mockingjay! I loved the end of the book, it made me content with the story in the end. I was worried that it would be something I totally didn't expect like half the things in the book i didn't expect. hehe

I'm way excited to go home, I get to spend some time with some of my favorite people! And go to the Haunted Forest hopefully and meet up with some friends from Snow there. :)
And I have another mission farewell to go to this sunday. Lol I have hardly been to my ward at all.

And a fun fact, my lovely roommate who will be known as Brazil and I had started making a V-log but we lost time for that after the play practices started. Its ok but we have had a lot happen since then. lol!


Oh and a bit of news, I am going to audition to be a Young Performing Missionary. :) I need to because it feels like the right thing to do which would rock my summer if I do get to go. :D

Well i'm going to study and get some homework stuffs done a clean my place before I head home!! WOOT!

I'm way busy...woot! but just a little too much to handle at the moment.
I'm the Stage Manager for the first show.
I am really tired right now. I have Aerobics and PE on tuesdays and thursdays so I am exhaugsted by the end of the day.
I have not done my film homework yet....or taken the last quiz...gah
I can't wait for the weekend.
I can then finish things that have been left unfinished all week.
Like finishing my Letter and Recorded letter to Elder Wilson yay!

Oh FHE

It was my last FHE with the UVU 12th Ward. It was fun we had a marshmallow war! Flour covered marshmallows!!! Woot! It was a lot of fun. I will have to get a photo from it. :D Candice was being silly. lol  I will miss that ward, until next summer. I will return! :)

Then I went home and chased a little black bunny rabbit that has been living in our neighborhood that the neighbors on the corner have given up on. They just eventually stopped trying to find a way to stop him from leaving their yard. It really isn't that hard to take care of a rabbit is it? I have never had a pet so I don't know. I do know that tonight I was SOOO close to catching that Rabbit! Grr... When I pulled up in the driveway some of the kids from across the street were trying to catch the silly thing. So I decided to help them. We chased that rabbit around in circles! it was fun, but I thought I had him....alas I failed. Until next time Blacky! (Mom named him Blacky even though he has brown spots mixed in the black.

Well after my Red/Blonde haired sister and I made some popcorn and had fun being dorks...which I made her laugh because I was feeling indifferent to my personality and was making strange voices and laughing. It was fun, I enjoy those times with her. Mom finished her phone call and we all had scripture study with dad.

We just started over as a family in the Book of Mormon. It still amazes me that the lord had Angels appear to Laman and Lemuel so many times and they still  ended up murmuring and complaining. I just cannot fathom the fact that an Angel appeared before them and they still chose to forget what they had been taught. But "there must needs be opposition in all things" right? And there are many many other stories like that where an angel appears and they don't care. One day it will all make perfect sense. :)

So mom, my sis and I started watching Arsenic and Old Lace together. It is hilarious! I love it!  I have only watched half of it because I was on my way to bed but it is good and I cannot wait for the show itself when school starts! Woot!

Well I'm going to go to sleep and I will go running in the morning.

Friday the 13th!

My last post was a little too mellow...eh...

Anyways so I went to Ephraim yesterday and I am running sound for a pageant. Yeah I just remember working pageants in high school and remembered that I didn't particularly like the people who ran them cause they treated us like we were dumb and wanted immediate reaction time to everything when sometimes it takes a second to get a task done. Geez! I just need to remember to put on a happy face and deal with it when I am working with these people. Its really hard sometimes...trust me! well for me anyways and I usually get along with people! So yeah that was ok. Then they sprung a saturday morning rehearsal on us at 9Am so now I have to leave tomorrow morning at like 6am to get there on time.
Because I love you all my friends who invited me to that summer party that happens to be today and everyone wants me to be there. Well you got it. I'm coming but no crying when I leave early! :P I actually found out we would have had rehearsal today as well if it wasn't for budget cuts on the pageant budget. So you are lucky I decided to drive home to see you people.

And I got a letter! Woot! It was a wonderful letter and I loved it and I freaking love each letter that comes because it is always getting better. Its funny how before I was the one helping him and then he was the one helping me and now our letters have great timing to come just when we need to remember better our purpose in life or just remembering to read the scriptures and I could list many more but I won't. I just have to say I know for a fact that when a young man devotes his life for two years to serve the lord, he is definately with out a doubt blessed in so many ways. And its a neat experience to see friends close to you change and see their joy in serving those people who don't know the truth just yet. :)

Well I gotta start packing for school now because I'm going to be quite busy next week just packing. Lighten the load now!

And if I remember I'll let ya know about the Pageant...sigh...sometimes you gotta bite your tongue!

Summer

It has been one long summer. A good one, but a slow long summer. I've learned alot about myself.
It has also been my first summer with out him.
I miss him. One more summer to go.
I move in a week and a half and I am going back to Snow College.
This year will be awesome. This year will be better than last year.
I just hope you know? I hope.

Oh Summer...

So..I love how I said I would keep up in my blog...yeah that didn't really happen. I am not always going to be posting on here just because I always forget.
But this summer has been interesting, it's the first summer I have spent with out one of my best friends. And a friend has recently come home and I had been hanging out with him and other friends, but...I just haven't felt included. I am but...
This summer has also made me miss all of my Snow College friends very much. There was just that awesome group of us and it was a pretty large group, but it was a fair group of friends from the theatre department and we all just got along. Yes, there was some drama but we are all good kids and we all just loved hanging around each other because we all accepted each other. And I could not have asked for a better group of friends. :) I will never forget it.

Anyways...I have just been working some over the summer and helping here around the house. Seeing old friends. Going to farewells. Which this weekend I am driving to visit my best friend in Grantsville and go to a farwell for an amazing young man. And it appears that most of our friends from Snow are all planning on comming. its going to be a fantastic day!
I've been spending time with another best friend. :) Lets call her Brazil! She is just awesome, :) and we just might become roommates this fall if we can work it out.

Well...I'm going to do something else that  needs my attention.

Adventurous week!

Man...I should be in bed, from now on I will not post this late...
I got the chance to go to Blanding, Utah this week with my good college buddy Amber! ^_^ We got to see our dearest friend Anita! We were coming down to help with a photo shoot. Her friend Kara who is the photographer and I believe creator of Illuminated moments (You should check out her blog or look them up on facebook!) was having a party shoot. A party shoot is where the model comes and they bring something crazy or extreme and we do hair and make up to go with it. It was so much fun. I got to help with some of the hair, learning how to curl hair better from Anita too!
But, on the way down I was so paranoid that I would take a wrong turn and end up in Wyoming because I have never driven down south this far before, and to a place I am unfamiliar with. Amber and I made it there safely after what seemed longer than 5 hours....it was still a lot of fun, we love to laugh. (Who doesn't?)
When I have more time I will post the amazing photo Kara took of me from my turn in the photo shoot. Everyone looked so fantastic!! I can't wait to do it again.

On another note! I got to play some Frisbee with my ward! Yay! I hardly ever get the chance to do things with my ward, especially when I was in Ephraim, but I am determined to change that! Besides that, I got to go to my Dad's last concert tonight, he has sung with the Wasatch Chorale for 20 years. It was a really good concert and I am very glad I was able to go with my mom and sister. My dad was laid off from his job earlier this week, so things around here will be a little different but the same. Its just going to be a test my family will go though, and we will make it because the Lord will always provide a way for those who have faith. :)

Well...I have a farewell to get to tomorrow and my own ward to attend, with an alert mind. :D

I'm 19 today!! Woot!

Well, I woke up a little early, and my mom brought me breakfast in bed. :) Then I finished watching Sense and Sensability, which I had started watching yesterday. I then went to Intistitute with my friends Tom and Kyle, it was really good. I have never had my eye water so much during a lesson, but I understand a little better of the pre-mortal life and life afterwards. And that is going to be so amazing, its something I look forward to. Then I went to lunch at Subway with Tom and Kyle. Learned how to play some WOW (World of Warcraft) card game they have been playing. Then a friend of mine from college dropped by and gave me a present he made. I thought it was very nice of him to take the time to create something for me. And then I replied to my friends birthday comments to me on facebook and decided to blog about my day. :)
Well...I am going to have a party with my family tonight so it should be really good. I'm excited. If I get the chance I will blog after I come back from Blanding this weekend. Woot!
